Additional Comments | Freeman hospital is the largest tertiary referral centre in the North East of England for the multi-disciplinary management of complex benign and malignant HPB cases. We are a centre of excellence for management of Gastro-entero-pancreatic Neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NET). We have the largest series of Robot assisted surgery in the UK. We also run an efficient and successful Sarcoma surgery unit. We have a dynamic transplant team and have a Live Donor kidney transplant every week. With over 120 Kidney transplants a year offer great training opportunities in HPB and transplant surgery. Our Fellowship includes training in all the above mentioned specialities in addition to Multi-organ Retrieval training. |
